"I feel love and devotion and pride for all of my “children”." Thank you! Yes, yes and yes. Beautiful writing Maureen. From another mother of many somethings in her own life.

Yes you are!

Mmmmm yes. I’ve been thinking about this—how the original original intention of Mother’s Day was to celebrate women, but now it’s become something that excludes a lot of women and a lot of relationships. Thank you for this, Maureen.

I absolutely love your heart! This is beautiful.

Very sneaky of you to make me misty eyed this week instead of making me laugh.

So true that worthy ventures are difficult to see through to maturity--in the business sense. I didn't realize the failure percentage was so high. Love the inclusivity here--growing your own food, starring in or writing a Broadway play, starting a business. All very thoughtful. On another note, I lived in Mendocino Co. (Willits) long ago and made the trek infrequently to Mendocino (that hellish road)! It was a fun time in my life and w/ your hotel, I'm sure you really enjoyed being there, too.

I miss that part of the world and that time in my life often 🫶🏻 and yes OMG I know the road to Willits (and Ukiah) well!

It would always sound like a good idea to head over to Mendocino for the day. Then about 1/2 way from Willits where the trees are Really thick and it's so dark, we'd always say, What are we doing? But then we'd get to Mendo and all was fine. What was the name of your hotel?

I agree. I do agree. Thank you for showing me a new and broad perspective of motherhood.
